In 2026, Russian businesses will gain access to an AI agent developed by Sber for its Process Mining platform, said Taras Skvortsov, deputy chairman of the management board of Sberbank, at the second annual process analytics conference, Sber Process Mining Conf 2026.

The tool autonomously analyzes business processes and generates a ready-made report with hypotheses and recommendations. The agent can analyze up to hundreds of millions of events per month at any time and with any frequency. The intelligent assistant can cut the time required for data analysis by a factor of four. To work with the AI agent, users simply need to upload data into the system and describe the task in natural language.

“Our team has developed and deployed the first AI agent of this kind in Russia. It identifies hidden relationships in data and generates well-grounded hypotheses. It becomes a valuable assistant for specialists: instead of spending dozens of hours manually checking data, analysts receive ready-to-use insights for accurate and effective decisions in just minutes. This accelerates the entire workflow – from research to implementation,” Skvortsov said.

AI for Business Process Automation

A study by SberAnalytics and Sber Business Soft, conducted in November 2025, found that 39 percent of Russian companies already use AI agents and AI assistants to automate business processes.

Speaking at Sber Process Mining Conf, Anatoly Popov, deputy chairman of the management board of Sberbank, said that companies across Russian cities are rolling out digital tools – not only electronic document management systems and CRM platforms, but also AI-based solutions. The most tangible business impact and cost savings, he noted, come from automating first-line customer support and call centers using AI assistants.

Most commonly, companies automate document workflows and request processing, accounting and financial management, HR processes, strategic planning and customer support, as well as sales and marketing. Another 19 percent of companies use AI to solve creative tasks.
