RT-Engineering Nears Completion of Commissioning Work at Chernogorsky Mining and Processing Plant
The facility is expected to begin operations by the end of the year.
RT-Engineering is nearing completion of commissioning work at the processing plant of the Chernogorsky Mining and Processing Plant. Specialists are currently synchronizing the various stages of the production process to create a single production chain. They are also testing equipment performance, configuring automated control systems, and testing the algorithms for safety protections and interlocks.
The Chernogorsky Mining and Processing Plant will specialize in producing platinum and palladium, which are essential to high-tech industries.
“At this stage, particular attention is being paid to the reliability of automated control systems, interconnections between units, and the synchronized operation of equipment across all stages of the production process. We plan to complete commissioning, bring the plant into operation and continue ramping up to its design capacity by the end of this year,” said Konstantin Venger, deputy general director and head of the RT-Engineering Project Office.
