Externum Distributed Control System by Reglab Recognized as Russian-Made Industrial Product
Externum has been added to the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade’s register of domestic industrial products.
The Externum distributed control system developed by Reglab has been recognized as a Russian-made industrial product. The entry has been added to the relevant register maintained by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. The system is designed to automate continuous industrial processes, including operations at facilities with high production risks. It combines process equipment control with emergency protection functions.
Notably, Externum went through a two-stage process to obtain domestic-product status. First, the system’s software was certified and added to the register of domestic software. The hardware and software system has now received the same status.
According to the developer, using the system can improve the stability of process conditions and product quality in continuous-production facilities. Externum is designed to manage distributed processes within a single information environment.
