St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and VK Tech to Join Forces on AI Solutions in Science and Education
Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and VK Tech have signed a cooperation memorandum at the VK WorkSpace Conf 2026 conference.
The parties plan to conduct joint research and develop digital solutions for science and higher education in artificial intelligence, data analysis, high-performance and cloud computing, and information security. The agreement provides for educational programs, internships, and student practical training on real IT tasks.
"Cooperation with VK Tech will allow us to connect our research and educational work with the objectives of a technology company. We plan to develop joint research and give students the opportunity to gain experience solving real-world problems. For the university's day-to-day operations, we have also selected VK WorkSpace Mail and Disk," commented Andrey Lyamin, Vice Rector for Information Technology and Digital Transformation at St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
