Yugra State Expert Review Authority Automates Digital Model Audits
The Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug–Yugra State Expert Review Authority has implemented Larix.Manager to audit digital information models. The system detects clashes and discrepancies in quantities before a project is approved.

Larix.Manager is integrated into a three-stage review process: intake and completeness checks; visual analysis and automated checks; and assessment of the revised model. Its automated routines compare building coordinates against design drawings and survey data using the MSK-86 coordinate system and the Baltic Height System. They detect clashes between structural elements and building services, check model attributes and the correct use of IFC classes, and generate bills of quantities for comparison with cost estimates.
During a review of a sports complex with a floor area of 11,500 square meters, the system identified a discrepancy involving 17 piles between the 3D model and the specification. The error was corrected before the project was approved. In another case, it detected beams and slabs that did not intersect as intended and had incorrect elevation levels. The implementation has turned digital information model auditing into a quality control tool. The authority also prevents unnecessary levels of detail in models at LOD 400–500. Larix.Manager is listed in Russia’s domestic software registry.
