Donetsk AI Assistant Receives Federal Verification and Speeds Up Request Processing
The AI assistant Obrashchaysya (“Request It”), deployed by the Donetsk city administration, has been verified by Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development.

“The first AI solution in the Donetsk People’s Republic has received federal-level recognition. The Obrashchaysya assistant is available on the Tsifrovoy Region (“Digital Region”) website and has been verified by Russia’s Ministry of Digital Development. With its help, the time required by the Donetsk city administration to prepare a draft response to a public inquiry has fallen from two hours to 40 minutes. The assistant is powered by Russia’s GigaChat neural network,” said Kirill Makarov, the DPR’s first deputy prime minister.
Since the system was introduced, it has helped prepare 579 responses and documents and provided support for 174 legal consultations. A designated government official makes the final decision; the assistant only prepares a draft. The administrations of Mariupol and Snizhne are expected to start using the system in the near future.
In May, DPR Prime Minister Andrey Chertkov announced plans to digitize the work of the government and ministries in 2026. In the summer, the government announced the launch of the AI assistant.
