T1 and IKS Bezopasnost Partner to Secure Russia’s Transport Infrastructure
IT holding company T1 and cybersecurity firm IKS Bezopasnost have signed a partnership agreement focused on protecting critical transport infrastructure, with their first joint project targeting one of the country’s largest transportation facilities.

The partnership comes as cyber threats continue to escalate across Russia’s corporate sector. In 2025, the number of information security incidents rose 42% to 22,000 cases, according to the companies, with nearly half disrupting business operations. The average damage from a single attack is estimated at roughly 5% of a company’s annual revenue. In the infrastructure project already underway, analysts found that up to 90% of security requirements could be handled through built-in protections inside T1’s cloud infrastructure, while the remaining risks are covered by specialized tools from IKS Bezopasnost.
According to Knigin, that approach makes it possible to build systems that are both more resilient and more economically sustainable. IKS Bezopasnost CEO Alexander Kovalevsky said the partnership creates a foundation for developing integrated security platforms capable of responding to the evolving demands of large enterprise customers.
The companies plan to expand the model into other industries that require high levels of cyber resilience.
