Tochka Bank Lets Small Businesses Accept Payments Without a Card Terminal
Tochka Bank's Klik service now allows entrepreneurs to activate QR code payments and cashless tipping on their own, eliminating the need to wait for bank staff.
Previously, businesses had to submit an application and complete several approval stages before they could activate these services, a process that could take weeks. Now, entrepreneurs simply register, receive a QR code or payment link, and can begin accepting payments immediately, with customers entering the payment amount themselves. No payment terminal is required. The service is designed for beauty salons, car washes, fitness clubs, private tutors, photographers, and self-employed professionals.
"We try to look beyond the transaction itself and think about the experience our customers' customers receive. Ultimately, that's what determines whether people come back, leave a tip, and enjoy interacting with a business. Good payment services should be almost invisible: businesses shouldn't have to spend time on a complicated setup process, and customers shouldn't have to deal with unnecessary extra steps," said Evgeny Nikolaev, Product Lead for Klik.
