NNGASU Scientists Automate Design of Vertical Infrastructure for Cellular Towers
Specialized software performs complex calculations in minutes.

Scientists at Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering have developed a way to significantly speed up the design of vertical infrastructure for cellular towers. The technology is based on specialized software that automates parametric modeling and engineering load calculations. In practice, this can reduce the time needed to design stairs, cable trays and feeder lines from hours to minutes.
According to the developers, the software modules are a domestic, import-independent design tool for communications infrastructure and advance Russia’s capabilities in specialized engineering automation. The technology could eventually be widely used in construction projects where highly accurate calculations need to be combined with minimal labor requirements.
