The Russian government has revised its approach to industrial development strategy, according to a statement from its press service. The updated document calls for enterprises to shift as much as possible to domestically developed digital technologies.

By 2030, the share of Russian-made software used at manufacturing enterprises is expected to reach 80 percent. For companies with state ownership, the target is even higher—95 percent.

Support Goes Digital

Officials say the rollout of digital technologies will increase production volumes by 40 percent within five years. State support measures will be delivered in a proactive format, including through a unified digital platform. The portal is scheduled to launch by 2030.

The strategic direction for digital transformation of the manufacturing sector includes five ecosystem projects: Umnoe Proizvodstvo (Smart Manufacturing), Tsifrovoi Inzhiniring (Digital Engineering), Produktsiya Budushchego (Products of the Future), Doverennye Resheniya (Trusted Solutions), and Intellektualnaya Gospodderzhka (Intelligent State Support).
