Engineers in Perm have developed a compact robotic vehicle designed to clean parks and public squares, the regional Ministry of Digital Development said. The tracked mini-tractor can run for up to eight hours on battery power before switching to an internal combustion engine. It can be controlled remotely within a range of up to one kilometer via direct connection or at virtually unlimited distances using the internet. The robot supports interchangeable attachments, including a snow blower, plow blade, sweeping brush, and mower. A trailer with a 100-liter tank for de-icing agents can also be attached.

Designed for Quiet and Clean Operation

According to the developers, the robot is intended for areas where low noise and zero emissions are essential – parks, pedestrian zones, and public squares. Its compact size also allows it to operate in locations inaccessible to larger machinery.

The developer, Perm-based company Universaltrak, specializes in manufacturing robotic radio-controlled tracked platforms. The company integrates advanced robotics, artificial intelligence, and mechatronics technologies into its designs.
