FEFU Graduate Students Build AI Platform to Generate Gamified Lessons
The system named Gamy allows teachers to create interactive assignments in seconds, cutting preparation time significantly.

Graduate students at Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) have developed Gemi (AI-powered lesson generation platform), a web-based tool that enables teachers to quickly create gamified learning tasks using artificial intelligence.
The service automatically generates interactive assignments based on uploaded materials. Teachers simply select a format, ranging from level-based progression to a “knowledge wheel.” According to the developers, the process takes about 20 seconds and can save up to two hours of preparation time.
The platform has already completed six pilot tests at extracurricular education centers in Vladivostok and training hubs for academic competitions. During these trials, student engagement increased by 20–30%.
The team has also received a 200,000 ruble ($~2,200) grant from the Sverkhnovye 3.0 (innovation grant competition) to further develop the product and is preparing the platform for a broader market launch.
