Innopolis University and Kazan State Medical University Partner on Digital Medicine
The institutions signed a strategic agreement during SPIEF 2026.
Kazan State Medical University and Innopolis University have agreed to cooperate on healthcare digitalization initiatives. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of SPIEF 2026.
"The agreement defines three key areas of partnership: education, including joint programs built around a three-level model for developing AI competencies among healthcare professionals; research, including priority projects in genomics, molecular biology, and aging biology using machine learning; and applied solutions, including intelligent tools to support clinical decision-making," the press service of Kazan State Medical University said.
The partners will assume complementary roles. Innopolis University will be responsible for the technological component, including software development, machine-learning algorithms, and other applied tasks. Kazan State Medical University will focus on defining clinical challenges and validating the resulting solutions in medical practice.
