RTK-DC to Equip All Data Centers With High-Speed Wi‑Fi
The project calls for the deployment of 1,500 wireless access points across the company’s facilities.

RTK-DC has begun rolling out a high-speed secure Wi‑Fi network across its data centers. The infrastructure will be built using software developed by Rostelecom.
The first site to undergo the upgrade is the company’s flagship Medvedkovo-2 data center, where about 200 access points have already been installed. Under the project roadmap, more than 1,500 access points are scheduled to be deployed at additional RTK-DC facilities across Russia by the end of the year.
The wireless network is intended to make day-to-day operations more efficient by allowing employees to address technical issues from any location within the company’s data centers. User authentication is handled through a Rostelecom cloud-based solution that complies with current information security standards. All platform components are deployed within Rostelecom’s internal infrastructure and use domestically developed technologies.
