Russia to Build Digital Twins for Energy Facilities in India
Rosatom subsidiary prepares to launch pilot projects in two foreign markets

In 2026, ITTs Dzhet, a subsidiary of state corporation Rosatom, plans to create digital twins for energy facilities in India and Belarus. Sergei Bukreev, the company’s deputy CEO, announced the plans at the opening of a mathematical modeling school at Novosibirsk State University.
According to Bukreev, the company is actively preparing to launch pilot projects in both countries. Through 2035, it also plans to roll out advanced modeling tools as part of Russia’s national energy strategy.
ITTс Dzhet is a high-tech company that for more than 30 years has developed, deployed and maintained training simulators for operating personnel at nuclear power plants and other energy facilities. Its proprietary platform allows engineers to build full-scale mathematical models of energy infrastructure, create digital twins for analysis and forecasting, and support personnel training systems.
High-Tech Cooperation
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said at the Russia-India Business Forum that Moscow is ready to expand cooperation with New Delhi in artificial intelligence.
At the same event, VimpelCom (Beeline) proposed creating a joint AI development center based in Russian-Indian technology parks. Nina Matvienko, director of product marketing for Big Data & AI at Beeline, said Russia has experience building integrated AI systems for manufacturing, transport and security, while India serves as a benchmark for large-scale digital services and IT talent.
