SNIIP has secured inclusion in Russia’s Ministry of Industry and Trade registry for its RGB-14R1 unit paired with the UDGB-47R system, designed to monitor radioactive gases.

The equipment is used in automated radiation monitoring systems at nuclear power facilities. All components - from hardware assemblies to software - are developed and manufactured within Russia.

The systems continuously track conditions across ventilation systems, process pipelines, workspaces, and other critical points, allowing operators to monitor radiation safety parameters in real time.

“For the institute, this reflects consistent work to expand our product line and build full-cycle development and manufacturing capabilities. In recent years, we have significantly upgraded our automated radiation monitoring systems and developed several fundamentally new detection devices, which we supply to nuclear power plants in Russia and abroad,” said Alexey Nikitin.

Inclusion in the ministry’s registry will give Rosatom priority access to government procurement programs, as well as eligibility for tax incentives.
