AI to Speed Up Forest Restoration in Tyumen Region
New tools are helping streamline documentation and approval processes in forestry management.

Authorities in the Tyumen region have begun integrating artificial intelligence into forestry operations, using it to speed up document preparation and simplify approvals.
According to the regional forestry department, a pilot module is being tested in collaboration with AVERSINFORM and is used in drafting forest restoration projects. The materials are then submitted to the Federal State Information System for Forestry.
The region has also rolled out digital services for obtaining forest land plots without auctions and for securing permits for geological exploration. These tools have made procedures more transparent and reduced the need for in-person visits.
