Yandex ProBlogger Will Help Creators Monetize Content Across Multiple Channels

Yandex has launched a new service that brings together tools for monetizing content distributed across different platforms.

The service works as a “one-stop shop” where creators can connect multiple channels, receive advertising offers from Yandex Direct clients, track their earnings, and analyze their audiences.

Yandex ProBlogger is a single service for monetizing and analyzing creator content across multiple platforms, including Telegram, MAX, VK (VKontakte), RUTUBE, YouTube, and Zen. The service can help bloggers increase their earnings and make content placement more effective. Yandex ProBlogger is available free of charge on the web and through a mobile app.

Finding Advertisers Just Got Easier

For creators and channel owners, the new service makes earning money from advertising more convenient and efficient. It adds their channels to the pool of platforms available to Yandex Direct advertisers, opening access to a steady stream of hundreds of thousands of advertisers that use messaging apps, social networks, video-hosting services, and other content platforms for promotion.

The system uses algorithms to match ads with creators, audience analytics, anti-fraud and Brand Safety tools, as well as AI tools for creating sponsored posts. Ad labeling, registration of materials through an Advertising Data Operator (ORD), and the submission of information to the Unified Internet Advertising Register (ERIR) are also automated.

“The service brings together different monetization methods, too: a creator can earn simultaneously from views and clicks on automatically placed ads, as well as from targeted actions by subscribers, such as conversions through affiliate links in their own posts. Previously, these methods were available only separately,” the company’s press service said.

25,000 Channels and 600,000 Advertisers

Yandex ProBlogger is an example of advertising-process automation, but creators still retain control over the ads they run. They can rely on AI and automated placement or select offers themselves from a catalog based on what fits their audience.

According to Yandex, the ecosystem already includes more than 25,000 channels and blogs. Over the previous three years, creators earned more than 6 billion rubles (about $69 million). The advertiser base includes more than 600,000 companies.

Bloggers with at least 1,000 subscribers can join the service. That low entry threshold gives micro-influencers a way to earn money from audiences they previously had to monetize manually or could not monetize at all.

Influencers Benefit, Advertisers Get Results

The predecessor to ProBlogger was a standalone service from the Yandex Advertising Network (RSYA). Yandex began testing the model in 2024, allowing creators on VK, RUTUBE, Telegram, YouTube, and other platforms to post affiliate links to products and earn money from targeted audience actions. Today, Yandex has effectively created a technology intermediary between advertisers and creators across multiple platforms, not all of them owned by Yandex. For bloggers, that means they can manage the monetization of several channels from one place while offloading the technical work involved in placing ads and analyzing their performance.

Yandex ProBlogger reflects a shift in Russia’s influencer marketing industry from fragmented advertising integrations toward a platform-based, automated model in which ad matching, analytics, content creation, labeling, and payments are brought together in a single system.

One advantage of the new product is its cross-platform design. Creators do not need to move their audiences entirely into the Yandex ecosystem because they can work across different platforms. Experts expect the platform to evolve toward deeper analytics and more sophisticated tools for measuring advertising effectiveness.

We have been working in the channel and blog monetization market for three years, and during that time we have paid creators more than 6 billion rubles [about $69 million – ed. note]. Yandex ProBlogger brings the Yandex Advertising Network’s influencer inventory together under a single brand, with one point of entry for creators. In the future, we plan to expand the service’s capabilities by adding tools for working with and promoting content, so we can help creators develop their blogs and channels themselves, not just monetize them
