AI Speeds Up Electronic Document Management in Russia
An AI agent at SberKorus is streamlining communication between suppliers and retailers.

Russian electronic document management operator SberKorus has integrated artificial intelligence into its data exchange system, the company’s press service said. The neural network improves communication between suppliers and retailers, accelerates document processing, and reduces the risk of errors.
According to the company, the tool operates within the chat interface of the Sfera Torgovlya EDI service used for interactions with retail partners. GigaChat processes all incoming messages. Pilot testing showed that more than half of user requests are resolved without the involvement of a human operator. The chatbot continues to be trained, meaning interactions are expected to become even more automated in the near future.
A Digital Business Environment
The AI assistant operates around the clock, responds in free-form language, points users to relevant sections or tools, advises on various scenarios, and helps prevent errors and delays in document exchange. As SberKorus emphasized, the AI helper recommends optimal actions when handling electronic documents with retail chains.
The assistant is also being tested in pilot mode by users of another service, Sfera Documents, where it likewise responds to user messages. According to the company, such products help create a “digital world for business.”
