B1 and Smart Engines Join Forces to Expand AI Adoption in Business
B1 Group and document recognition technology developer Smart Engines have signed a long-term cooperation agreement focused on intelligent automation.
The companies plan to jointly deploy artificial intelligence at Russian organizations, combining Smart Engines' scientific and technical expertise with B1's business expertise. The partners aim to overcome barriers to digital transformation and deliver measurable economic returns from AI.
According to the companies, despite growing investment in AI, technology alone does not always translate into improved business performance — advanced technologies need to be paired with an understanding of business processes. That combination is at the core of the partnership between B1 and Smart Engines, which has supplied AI systems to banks, insurers, telecom operators, and industrial companies for more than a decade.
He added that the projects will allow the companies to offer businesses AI systems that deliver tangible returns. Early results include a data storage platform, cross-selling tools, and systems for organizing marketing operations.
