The government of the Lipetsk Region has implemented the Awareness Platform developed by cybersecurity architect Solar Group to improve staff cyber literacy. The system is designed to help employees recognize online threats and accurately identify phishing attempts. According to the company, more than half of cyberattacks begin with malicious emails that can deceive even experienced users. A single mistake can lead to serious consequences, including system breaches.

Investing in Regional Cybersecurity

All public sector employees in the Lipetsk Region will undergo training on the Awareness Platform. The program includes educational courses and hands-on simulations of phishing attacks. Regional Minister of Digital Development and Artificial Intelligence Stanislav Kornienko said employee training is an investment in the cybersecurity of the entire region.

Solar Group says that one year of training is enough to raise the detection rate of key cyber threats to 80 percent. Over three years, more than 300,000 people have completed training on the Awareness Platform. The solution has been deployed at more than 200 organizations across Russia.
