Moscow Residents Rate Digital Services and Offer City Hall Suggestions

More than one million people reviewed the city’s digital platforms and shared ideas for improving them.

Moscow residents have summed up a series of votes within the Aktivny Grazhdanin (Active Citizen) project focused on the city’s electronic services. Over the course of the surveys, residents submitted more than one million opinions on the performance and future development of seven digital platforms used to take part in city life and handle everyday issues.

The results were published on the official website of the Mayor of Moscow.

Moscow and a Million Prizes

According to participants, the most popular campaign last year was Moskva 2030 (Moscow 2030), which was run jointly with the city’s loyalty program Million Prizov (Million Prizes). Among updates to the platform itself, users especially highlighted the Istorii Moskvichey (Stories of Muscovites) section, which features content about life in the city.

For Children

Moscow also operates a separate safe digital environment for children called Aktivny Grazhdanin — Detyam (Active Citizen for Children). On this platform, children aged six to 13 share their views on how the capital is developing and take part in activities. Participants said interactive games were the most engaging feature, and residents supported the idea of increasing the number of quests on the children’s platform.

Report a Problem

One of the most practical services, according to respondents, is the Nash Gorod (Our City) portal, which allows users to report malfunctions and shortcomings. Participants gave high marks to how easy it is to submit requests.

The voting also covered the Elektronny Dom (Electronic Home) service, the Gorod Idey (City of Ideas) platform, and the Gorod Zadaniy (City of Tasks) project. The most inspiring service, respondents said, was Puteshestviye v Rozhdestvo (Journey to Christmas), a project tied to the development of the city’s winter festival of the same name.

The voting results will help shape the future development of Moscow’s digital services, making them more convenient and effective for residents. The Aktivny Grazhdanin project has been operating since 2014 and has attracted more than seven million participants over that time.
