One in Three Russians Now Uses AI on the Job, Survey Finds

From top executives to Gen Z workers, artificial intelligence is becoming a regular fixture in Russian workplaces, with a third of employees using it to streamline their tasks.
Nearly one in three Russians is using artificial intelligence and neural networks to solve professional tasks, according to a new survey by the Avito Jobs platform cited by TASS.
The poll found that 28 percent of employees in Russia regularly rely on AI tools in their work. Leading the trend are top managers (19%), senior specialists (13%), and even unskilled workers (10%).
Young professionals are also heavy adopters: 17% of respondents aged 18–24 and 12% of those aged 25–34 said they use neural networks in their daily work.
The most common uses for AI include text and idea generation (35%), visual content creation (25%), and data analysis (23%). Other frequent applications include educational support (22%), workflow planning (16%), and automating repetitive tasks (15%).
Respondents identified AI’s biggest benefit as reducing monotonous work (44%), with nearly half saying it helps boost productivity and speed up task completion.
Experts say the rise of AI in Russia reflects a broader global shift toward the digitization of labor. As adoption rates climb, both businesses and educational institutions will need to adapt.
