Rosatom’s RusMelt 300M Certified for Export, Marks Russia’s Entry into Global 3D Printing Market

Rosatom’s metal 3D printer has cleared Russian export certification, signaling the country's push into the competitive global additive manufacturing sector.
The RusMelt 300M, a metal 3D printer developed by Rosatom’s Fuel Division, has been officially certified under Russia’s 'Made in Russia' program in the 'Uniqueness' category. The certification verifies the printer’s compliance with stringent safety and quality standards and opens the door for international export, according to Rosatom’s press service.
Designed for industrial-grade applications, the RusMelt 300M employs selective laser melting to print components using aluminum, titanium, nickel, cobalt-chrome, and stainless steel powders. It combines high precision and reliability with ease of maintenance, making it an attractive option for a range of manufacturing industries.
The printer entered mass production in 2024, with seven units already shipped. Rosatom plans to actively promote the system across the CIS, Asia, Africa, and Latin America—regions where the total market potential for additive technologies is estimated at $6.6 billion.
The 'Made in Russia' program supports manufacturers of innovative and high-quality products. The certification of the RusMelt 300M underscores Russia’s growing competitiveness in high-tech manufacturing and its efforts to expand its global footprint in 3D printing.
