Russia Holds First-Ever Digital Parade of Drones and Light Aircraft
The first digital parade showcasing the complex coordination of Russian aircraft and drones took place during the international forum “Wings of Sakhalin.”

Light aircraft and drones demonstrated the progress of Russian unmanned systems and their ability to integrate into shared airspace. Every participant was connected to a single identification network based on ERA-GLONASS. Both crewed and uncrewed vehicles were tracked in real time.
The data streamed simultaneously to the national flight planning system and to commercial services called “Jupiter” and “Nebosvod.” Through an online interface, observers could view each aircraft’s flight path, type, owner, and technical specifications. The system ensured full transparency and precise synchronization between all machines in the air.
For international participants, the parade underscored how far Russia has advanced in unmanned transport and the broader digital economy. At the same forum, “Wings of Sakhalin,” discussions went beyond drones: major agreements were signed, including initiatives to expand maritime logistics.
