Russia’s Leading Developers Join Forces to Protect User Accounts
Russian tech companies have confirmed cross‑compatibility between their cybersecurity tools, aiming to strengthen account‑level protections — a weak point exploited in 35 percent of attacks

Russian cybersecurity developer Red Security and Uveon Cloud Technologies, part of the Astra Group, have confirmed that Red Security’s multi‑factor authentication service is fully compatible with the multipurpose VDI platform Termidesk. According to Red Security, in 35 percent of documented cyberattacks, intruders gained access by compromising employee credentials.
Deploying these two integrated tools strengthens personal‑data protection while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This is particularly important for companies operating in hybrid formats or maintaining distributed remote offices.
Natalia Kuzmenkova, head of multi‑factor authentication at Red Security, noted that internal testing demonstrated reliable protection of virtual workspaces.
A Chain of Trust
In a VDI environment, multi‑factor authentication forms a sequential chain of security checks. A user enters credentials on their device; Active Directory verifies them; Red Security MFA issues a second authentication factor; the MFA server validates it; only then does Termidesk grant access.
According to Sergey Khalyapin, director of new markets and technology partnerships at Uveon Cloud Technologies, the collaboration enables the creation of solutions tailored to diverse corporate needs while ensuring a high level of data protection.
