Siberian University of Consumer Cooperation Adopts MTS Link Platform for Educational Communications
The Siberian University of Consumer Cooperation has deployed MTS Link, a platform for business communications, training, and collaboration. The solution has become the foundation of the educational process for more than 8,000 students, faculty members, and staff.

The university uses MTS Link to support both hybrid and fully remote learning formats. With the platform, students attend online lectures, participate in consultations, join scientific conferences, and even take part in virtual parent–teacher meetings.
The system enables remote students to connect to classes and allows instructors to conduct all educational activities within a unified digital environment.

A separate area of focus involves part-time students who rely on distance-learning technologies. This model allows learners to build their own schedules, watch lectures at convenient times, and combine their studies with professional work.
The use of online tools reduces the need for physical attendance and makes academic programs more accessible to students from remote regions and to those with limited mobility.
“In the future, we plan to expand the functionality of our digital ecosystem by integrating new MTS Link tools — such as group and individual chats for quick discussion of academic questions and student notifications, as well as interactive digital whiteboards for brainstorming, collaborative project development, and idea visualization. These capabilities make student–teacher interaction more dynamic and productive, erasing boundaries between classroom and independent work and creating a truly modern digital environment,” added Sergey Lyutts, Head of IT at the university.
