System administrators in Russia have been introduced to a digital colleague

Russian system administrators are getting a powerful new ally — an intelligent assistant built directly into ALD Pro. Designed to deliver instant answers, simplify onboarding, and ease the workload on tech support, this AI-driven tool could reshape how IT teams operate across the country

A Smarter Way to Support Administrators

Astra Group has introduced an integrated AI assistant for its ALD Pro directory service — a move that significantly changes how specialists interact with the platform. Instead of manually searching through documentation or navigating complex menus, system administrators can now receive precise answers within seconds.

The assistant does not require users to know specialized commands or terminology. This lowers the entry barrier for new employees and minimizes downtime caused by searching for technical details. It represents a shift toward more intuitive IT ecosystems, where experts can focus on meaningful tasks rather than repetitive information lookup.

Productivity, Onboarding, and Import Substitution

Beyond eliminating routine searches, the AI assistant accelerates training and adaptation for newcomers by providing instant expert-level guidance. According to Astra Group, the introduction of a digital colleague can boost team productivity by 30–40 percent.

Stanislav Ezhov, Astra’s Director of AI, emphasized the broader technological implications: “With the ALD Pro use case, we demonstrated that locally deployed large language models tailored to specific tasks can deliver more than 70 percent high-quality responses and significantly reduce the load on technical support. The AI assistant is an indispensable tool for companies navigating import substitution, enabling them to adapt quickly to new technological realities.”
