Vologda Dairy Academy Trains Students on Advanced Tractor Simulator
The program offers a wide range of exercises, with the simulator replicating a tractor’s full control system.

Vologda State Dairy Farming Academy has introduced a new simulator designed to replicate operation of the MTZ-1221 tractor, allowing students to build hands-on driving skills in a controlled environment.
The training program includes a range of exercises such as engine start-up, navigating a slalom course, turning in confined spaces, reverse parking into a bay, and coupling with trailers and mounted equipment. Each exercise can be run in two modes: training and examination.
The simulator is equipped with all the controls found in a real tractor. The simulation is displayed on a 42-inch monitor.
Academy officials say the simulator will play a key role in training future machine operators, particularly at the earliest stages of instruction.
