Yakutsk Enlists Residents in Fight Against Illegal Street Stalls
A chatbot called NTO-Control has been launched in Yakutsk to combat illegal trading. City head Dmitry Sadovnikov proposed launching it in the MAX messenger.

Stalls and tents have long been a systemic problem in the city: they occupy sidewalks and parking spaces, obstruct pedestrians, and spoil the appearance of the streets. As conceived by the city head, the bot will allow residents to report directly on non-stationary retail facilities installed in violation of landscaping rules.
Any resident can file a complaint about a violator. All it takes is sending the bot a photograph of the facility and its exact address. Specialists will review the reports. If it turns out that the facility does not meet the requirements, it will be dismantled.
The bot went live as part of a month-long campaign against illegal trading, which will run until the end of November. The authorities invite Yakutsk residents to join the NTO-Control project to make the city cleaner and more convenient together.
