National Research Nuclear University and First Bit Build Unified Digital Procurement Environment
First Bit has completed the implementation of a unified digital procurement environment at National Research Nuclear University.
The project combines procurement planning, procurement approval and financial commitment accounting into a single end-to-end process integrated with the university's financial system and the 1S:DGU document management system.
"At the first stage of the project, we described the existing procurement processes, data exchange points and interaction scenarios between departments," said Anna Malikova, procurement automation expert for public institutions at First Bit.
According to Malikova, this became the basis for designing the architecture of the unified digital environment, including the creation of procurement requests within budget limits and an end-to-end approval workflow.
According to First Vice-Rector Irina Balakina, the automation has given the university's management a comprehensive view of procurement, from requests to the spending of funds.
"The introduction of lean production technologies is aimed at increasing labor productivity at the university," Balakina said.
