Finding Weak Spots: Russian IT Professionals Build First Omsk CRM System

The Omsk-based startup 'Ya Pomogu,' a resident of the 'My Business' IT hub, is launching the first locally developed CRM system with AI elements and a diagnostic service called 'IT-Mood.' The tool evaluates IT infrastructure, identifies weaknesses, and helps justify investments in new equipment.

Helping Small and Medium-Sized Businesses

IT experts from Omsk created a customer relationship management (CRM) system designed to assess and analyze the health of a company’s IT infrastructure and fix deficiencies. Often, business leaders focus primarily on financial performance, overlooking the condition of technical resources. The 'IT-Mood' service evaluates server performance, internet stability, and the overall IT landscape, highlighting weak points and offering optimization suggestions.

The solution targets small and medium enterprises—shops, service providers, and small manufacturing businesses—typically running up to 100 computers.

Exposing Weak Points

The service identifies how outdated technology directly impacts business efficiency and profitability, then provides recommendations to fix the issues. For example, employees may spend twice as much time on routine tasks due to slow computers or unstable internet connections.

“We act as mediators between employees and management. Workers often cannot justify the need for new hardware, so we show business owners the actual losses caused by outdated systems,” explained Ivan Kiselev, head of 'Ya Pomogu.'

Each month, 'IT-Mood' checks computer performance, internet stability, IT support quality, and the company’s infrastructure. The results are presented to management in a detailed report highlighting bottlenecks and recommending hardware upgrades or process optimization. By basing decisions on objective data, businesses can better justify IT investments.

Choosing a CRM system in 2025 should be based not only on current business needs but also on growth potential. Systems with AI-driven features and deep integration will soon become the bare minimum for competitiveness

Filling the IT Support Gap

Looking ahead, 'IT-Mood' could be expanded and integrated with accounting systems and corporate security tools. The startup plans to scale the solution for corporate clients across Russia.

This reflects a broader trend: local IT infrastructure services are proving effective and affordable without requiring massive investments. By improving workplace technology, these solutions benefit both employees and the end customers of small and medium businesses.

In the future, 'IT-Mood' could spread beyond Siberia, supporting SMEs across Russia that lack sufficient IT support, including through regional business associations. Long term, it could evolve into a SaaS platform accessible online, with potential integration into national digitalization programs for SMEs.

Focus on Communication and Service Quality

In recent years, Russia has seen rapid growth in CRM adoption among small businesses, turning the tool into a strategic necessity. Experts note that CRM systems are especially relevant for companies with fast-growing data volumes and customer bases, where automation of routine tasks becomes essential.

Popular Russian platforms include AmoCRM, Bitrix24, and Megaplan, offering solutions for sales automation, task management, and document workflow. However, regional CRMs have traditionally focused on customer support. By contrast, 'IT-Mood' zeroes in on technical infrastructure. This shift underscores the digital maturity of Russian businesses and their alignment with global technology trends.
