The regional Ministry of Transport announced the system’s launch and reported its initial results. The AI has already recorded seven violations, and the evidence has been forwarded to supervisory authorities. Those responsible face administrative fines.

Ministry of Transport experts have warned that construction waste in ordinary garbage containers creates serious problems. Concrete rubble and reinforcing steel bars can break or deform garbage trucks’ lifting equipment, with the offenders liable for repair costs. Bulky debris also causes collection sites to overflow, making it harder for residents to dispose of household waste. Leftover paints, varnishes and insulation materials contain toxic substances that can contaminate the soil.

Construction waste is not classified as municipal solid waste. Dumping it in shared containers violates local public-space maintenance regulations and can result in fines. Following the testing phase, the project is moving into pilot operation. The developers plan to expand the camera network significantly.
