Piklema and PIR Partner to Advance Digital Mining Technologies
The two companies have signed a strategic partnership agreement.
Mining technology developer Piklema and Russian engineering company PIR (Partnership, Investment, Development) have agreed to cooperate on the digitalization and automation of mining operations.
The partnership will focus on areas including haulage operations, fleet dispatch, and data analytics. A key priority will be the deployment of autonomous operating systems for SANY mining equipment.
As part of the first joint project, the companies will establish an integrated implementation team responsible for system deployment, personnel training, technical support, and maintenance services. Piklema engineers will participate in site assessments, technical solution design, and system testing.
