Speech Without Data Leaks: Russian AI Learns to Operate Inside Secure Astra Linux

In Russia, the IVA Terra 2.0 speech recognition system has passed compatibility testing with Astra Linux Server, making it possible to run AI-based voice processing entirely within protected IT infrastructure.

The joint deployment is aimed at organizations that need to automate speech processing without sending data to external cloud services.

Speech Recognition

IVA Terra 2.0 is a server-based AI speech recognition system designed to convert spoken language into text. It is used to transcribe meetings, call center data, negotiations, video conferences, and audio archives, as well as for subsequent search and analysis of information. All processing is carried out within the customer’s internal IT environment.

Enhanced Security

As part of the Ready for Astra program, developers confirmed that IVA Terra 2.0 operates reliably on Astra Linux Server version 1.8. The system is installed directly on an Astra Linux server and relies on the operating system’s built-in security mechanisms, including access control and integrity monitoring. This allows AI models to be deployed in environments with heightened information security requirements.

Designed for Protected Infrastructure

The practical benefit for customers is that AI-based speech recognition can be implemented without altering the architecture of an existing secure infrastructure. Organizations gain a tool for automating business communications, documenting meetings, and processing voice data without moving sensitive information outside the security perimeter.

Verified compatibility simplifies the deployment of domestic AI technologies in government and corporate IT platforms, where security and operational predictability take precedence over cloud functionality.
