Russian Telecom Operator Enables Default Anti-Phishing Protection for All Users
Beeline introduces a network-level ‘Anti-Phishing’ system that automatically blocks access to malicious websites, safeguarding millions of users by default.

Russian telecom provider Beeline has integrated an innovative ‘Anti-Phishing’ system across its network to protect customers from fraudulent websites that steal passwords and financial data. The protection is enabled by default for all users—both mobile internet subscribers and home broadband customers.
Automated Defense Against Scams
The system continuously updates and analyzes lists of malicious domains using data from the National Coordination Center for Computer Incidents, the Integral Research Institute, and the Bank of Russia. When a user attempts to access a suspicious resource, the connection is instantly blocked. According to Beeline, the service prevents up to 30,000 hacking attempts each month. The most common phishing traps mimic well-known marketplaces, banks, and government portals.
The Human Factor Challenge
A Real Barrier Against Cybercrime
The launch of automated, system-wide protection marks a significant step in Russia’s cybersecurity landscape. By embedding this defense directly into the network infrastructure, Beeline provides a real, daily barrier against online fraud—protecting tens of thousands of customers from financial losses and data theft every month.
