Rustam Minnikhanov: “The Digital Assistant Handles Administrative Tasks Successfully”
The Republic of Tatarstan is piloting an AI-powered platform in government offices, and early results show it is speeding up routine work, producing thousands of documents, and freeing officials to focus on more complex problems.

Russia is successfully introducing artificial intelligence into government work. Initial results from the domestic AI-based platform “Gosprompt,” deployed in Tatarstan, show that many routine tasks are now completed much faster and more efficiently. According to the republic’s head, Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan is ready to share this experience with other regions of the country. This could become an important step in advancing public administration not only in Russia but globally.
Speaking at the Kazan Digital Week forum, Minnikhanov noted that the digital assistant already helps officials handle 150 types of standard tasks. Since its launch, the system has assisted in drafting more than 27,000 documents and processing 13,000 various initiatives. This frees up staff time for addressing more complex issues.
The next area for AI adoption in the republic will be education. A pilot project is already underway: 500 computer science teachers are using the AI-based platform as an intelligent assistant for creating tests, analyzing student performance, and automating other tasks.
The project’s key goal is to make advanced technologies accessible to any civil servant without requiring complex training. As noted by Tatarstan’s Ministry of Digital Development, the system itself helps users formulate their queries, simplifying work.
By 2025, the use of AI is expected to raise citizen satisfaction with government responses by 30%. By 2026, forecasts suggest AI will process up to 60% of officials’ tasks, performing them 40% faster and with higher quality.
Earlier in reports ITRussia noted that Russian officials will be trained to use artificial intelligence in their daily work.
