Sberbank to Teach AI to Manage Clients’ Investments
Sber is rolling out an AI-powered investment service that will allow clients to manage their capital. AI agents will not only analyze portfolios and the stock market but also execute trades on their own.

As Roman Kozhura, the company’s managing director, explained, Sber already uses AI algorithms that help clients assess their portfolios, compare them with benchmarks and calculate taxes in the Sberbank Online app. By the end of 2026, the bank plans to introduce batch orders for automated buying and selling of assets, as well as Invest AI, a tool that will create lists of securities based on an analysis of financial reports and news.
Starting in the second quarter of 2027, the system will offer clients an advisory workflow for buying and selling mutual fund shares directly through the mobile banking app.
Sber plans to eventually combine its AI tools into a single digital advisory service for managing personal wealth.
