A database maintained by the Main Archive of Moscow contains records from more than 150,000 organizations covering different periods of their operation. The digital resource is designed to help residents of Moscow and the surrounding region clarify details of their employment history and is now accessible via the mos.ru portal.

The digital archive includes personnel records on staff lists, organizational name changes, reporting lines, and contact details. Users can also submit online requests to the relevant archive, saving time previously spent on manual searches.

Everything in a Single Certificate

Officials expect the self-service option to redirect or remove from processing up to 30,000 requests each year that are submitted to archives outside their core remit.

Online users can obtain certificates from previous workplaces covering salary, job title, length of service, and awards. These records may be required for pension or benefit calculations, as well as for employment purposes. No supporting documents need to be uploaded: the system automatically searches the entire database of the Moscow Main Archival Administration and returns clear, structured information for the requested organization.
