AI Assistants Added to Russia’s Digital Q.PM Project Management System

Digital Products and Platforms

Diasoft, one of Russia’s largest developers and suppliers of IT products for the financial sector and other industries, is actively using AI assistants in its Digital Q.PM project management solution. The virtual assistants handle planning, automate resource allocation, track task completion and prepare reports.

The developers expect the Digital Q.PM project and product management platform to significantly reduce the amount of manual planning and reporting for client companies, while allowing missed deadlines and excessive employee workloads to be identified much faster.

Easier Planning and Better Deadline Management

The Digital Q.PM project management platform is designed to help organizations achieve business goals through effective portfolio management. Organizations can use it to plan work, track deadlines and manage team workloads. The developer has now integrated AI assistants into its digital solution, significantly expanding what users can do while reducing the workload for project managers and program participants. Within the platform, AI is directly involved in core project management processes, from creating and adjusting plans to monitoring execution and preparing reports.

From Critical-Path Analysis to Risk Management

On the Digital Q.PM platform, AI can analyze work plans, staff availability, a project’s most important critical points, its financial plan and other factors. Based on that information, AI helps create project plans and then adjusts them when conditions change, for example, when deadlines shift or tasks are reassigned among employees.

Another role for AI is monitoring adherence to the plan. Virtual assistants track progress on tasks, flag any deviations from the plan and alert teams and managers. This oversight helps identify trouble spots and take action before problems begin to affect delivery schedules.

Another area where AI is used on the platform is project status reporting. Virtual assistants can prepare summaries for executives and customers covering task status, resource utilization, financial metrics and identified risks. The reports can also include recommendations for addressing those difficulties.

Risk management is another important function of the AI assistants. The algorithms analyze projects and flag potential threats, such as resource overloads, possible delays and other factors that could affect the final outcome. According to the developer, the continued development of AI assistants on Digital Q.PM is intended to make project management more transparent while reducing manual work in planning, task monitoring and reporting. These capabilities will be particularly useful for large organizations running dozens or hundreds of projects simultaneously.

AI Becomes Part of Real Business Processes

Integrating AI assistants into the Digital Q.PM project and product management platform shows how Russian developers are gradually moving beyond systems that simply display and store project data toward tools that support management decision-making.

AI is being embedded into real business processes. Over time, this could help Russian companies identify problems and potential schedule overruns earlier and redistribute workloads among employees. Greater efficiency in corporate management could eventually accelerate the development and rollout of banking, government, industrial and other digital services. At the national level, developing such digital solutions is becoming an important part of Russia’s enterprise software sector and could reduce businesses’ dependence on foreign project management platforms.

There is already demand for such products in Russia. According to research by Yakov and Partners and Yandex, a significant share of large Russian companies were using generative AI in at least one business function in 2025.

Digital Q.PM also has export potential. The developer and Beeline Big Data & AI previously said they intended to jointly develop AI products for both the Russian market and overseas markets, including the CIS and Southeast Asia. The AI capabilities being developed within Digital Q.PM could be used in the company’s international projects.

AI delivers value in project management where many changing factors must constantly be taken into account: deadlines, resources, team workloads, dependencies between tasks and risks. For us, it is important that Digital Q.PM does more than simply record the state of a project – it should help managers spot deviations faster, anticipate their consequences and make decisions based on up-to-date data
