Digital concierges set to service Moscow’s high-rise buildings

A virtual assistant built into the Majordom service helps residents handle issues with property managers and smart-home systems.

Property management companies in Moscow are actively rolling out artificial intelligence in residential services. In several housing complexes, a new feature of the Majordom service has been tested – a digital assistant powered by GigaChat. The new function has been integrated with the platform’s internal knowledge base.

The virtual concierge responds instantly to user requests, ranging from issuing guest passes to submitting requests to the property management company or setting up smart-home scenarios.

Designed around residents’ needs

The first to test the AI concierge were customers of the service company Azbuka. Residents of different housing complexes provided feedback to developers, allowing them to quickly fine-tune the algorithms to match real user needs.

Developers at Filosofot plan to connect the digital assistant directly to property management companies’ knowledge bases. This would automate responses to routine resident inquiries, reduce the workload on management staff, and give residents round-the-clock access to assistance without the need to involve a human operator.
