Russian Schoolchildren Are Reading 3D Textbooks
The My School platform is gaining traction across Russia, bringing interactive digital textbooks into everyday classrooms.

Russian schools are increasingly turning into full-fledged digital education hubs. In the Moscow region, officials have shared year-end results showing how widely the state-run My School platform is being used. In 2025 alone, more than one million students accessed electronic gradebooks through the service.
Teachers conducted over 14 million lessons using digital tools, issued 122.5 million grades, and assigned more than 34 million homework tasks online. Around five million assignments were completed entirely in digital form, without any paper involved.
The popularity of electronic textbooks has also surged. According to the regional education ministry, digital books were used 2.5 times more often than before. The My School library currently offers 41 interactive textbooks for grades 5 through 9. Each includes audio versions of chapters, video materials, and 3D illustrations that turn complex topics into clear visual explanations.
Available Nationwide
To help students prepare for exams, the platform introduced special markers such as “Will Be on the Unified State Exam” and “Will Be on the Basic State Exam,” highlighting key topics in study materials. Parents were given access to a “Final Grades” feature, allowing them to track academic performance over several years.
Similar tools are now being rolled out nationwide. The Moscow Electronic School platform is expanding beyond the capital, while the Gosuslugi My School service is available even in remote regions. Digital education services are steadily becoming a new national standard.
