How to Make Digital Childhood Safer to Be Discussed at Global Digital Forum
The II Global Digital Forum will host an IT brunch on Oct. 8 focused on protecting children online. The main topic will be child protection models used in digital environments in different countries.
The event, “Digital Childhood Without Borders: Best International Practices for Protecting Children Online,” is organized by the Alliance for Child Protection in the Digital Environment. Participants will discuss how to balance child safety with access to modern digital opportunities and data protection, as well as how to scale best practices internationally.
The event will bring together representatives of governments, technology companies, digital platforms, and international and public organizations working on child online safety. A separate topic will be the creation of the Global Alliance for Child Protection in the Digital Environment. It is envisioned as an international platform for exchanging expert views, launching joint initiatives and building partnerships.
