Russian cybersecurity company ARinteg has released an updated version of its corporate archiver ARZip. The new release expands compatibility with multiple operating systems and adds additional security features for working with archived data.

The updated version, ARZip 1.9, supports the operating system Alt 11. The archiver also improves support for widely used compression algorithms, including LZMA, LZMA2, Deflate and Deflate64, allowing it to work seamlessly with common archive formats.

The interface now includes a checksum display feature. Users can quickly verify the integrity of an archive or individual files to ensure the data has not been damaged or altered.

Built for Corporate Workflows

The update introduces configuration options for proxy servers and password servers. These tools help automate software deployment across corporate IT infrastructure.

ARZip allows users to browse archives as if they were standard folders with directories and files. Documents can be opened directly from an archive within the program interface, and the application window can be resized according to user preferences.

The archiver also supports automatic deletion of original files after an archive is created. This simplifies data management and helps free up disk space more quickly.

Integration With Data Protection Systems

Developers placed a strong emphasis on information security. Password-protected archives are often used to transfer files outside corporate networks, since DLP systems do not always inspect their contents.

Integration between ARZip and DLP platforms via API allows protected archives to be automatically scanned for sensitive information. This reduces the risk of human error during manual checks by security teams.

In January 2026 the archiver was integrated with the SearchInform KIB system, while in summer 2025 it gained compatibility with InfoWatch Traffic Monitor.

ARZip supports creating archives in .zip, .7z and .tar.gz formats and extracting a wide range of formats including .rar, .tar, .arj, .ISO, .cab and .deb. Users can also create multi-volume archives and self-extracting packages.

The software is available in multiple languages, including Chinese, English and Arabic, making it suitable for international projects or multilingual development teams.
