Russia Confirms Compatibility Between Two Key Cybersecurity Systems

Certified Integration of UserGate NGFW and ALD Pro Expands Options for Domestic IT Infrastructure

Two of Russia’s leading cybersecurity products — the UserGate Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) and Astra Group’s ALD Pro — have officially passed compatibility testing under the Ready for Astra certification program. The verification confirms stable, fully compliant integration between the two systems, marking a major step toward building interoperable, domestic IT ecosystems.

Market Leaders Working in Sync

ALD Pro, developed on the Astra Linux platform, serves as a centralized tool for managing user accounts and access policies in corporate networks. It functions as a unified authentication hub and automation service for deploying systems ranging from SMB to DHCP servers. Since 2021, ALD Pro has been recognized as a domestic alternative to foreign directory services and certified by Russia’s Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) at Level 2 trust.

Meanwhile, UserGate NGFW combines next-generation firewall technology with intrusion detection and prevention capabilities. The product is listed in the national registry of certified cybersecurity tools and was named a market leader by STRIM Consulting analysts for both functionality and user satisfaction.

Building a Resilient IT Ecosystem

The confirmed compatibility between the two systems opens new possibilities for organizations seeking to build secure, fully Russian IT infrastructures. Experts say the collaboration represents a significant milestone for the country’s cybersecurity industry, strengthening technological sovereignty and ensuring that critical systems can operate reliably without reliance on foreign software.

Together, UserGate and Astra are shaping the foundation for a resilient, domestically powered digital landscape in Russia.
