Russian Developers Enable City Cameras to Automatically Issue Fines for Illegal Dumping
Companies NtechLab and Angels IT have integrated their software platforms to automatically detect illegal waste dumping and issue fines. The system has already completed pilot testing in three Russian regions.
The NTech City platform uses artificial intelligence to analyze video feeds from municipal cameras and identify violations at waste collection sites. The data is then transmitted to Angel: Administrativnaya Praktika (Angel: Administrative Enforcement System), which automatically generates a penalty notice and sends it to the violator through interagency communication channels, without human involvement.
According to Angels IT CEO Roman Popov, there are currently no comparable integrations on the market. The system automates the entire process, from detecting a violation to applying administrative penalties.
