Russian School Student Presents AI System for Scientists at Summit in Kazakhstan
The artificial intelligence system is designed to accelerate scientific research.
Arseniy Novozhilov, a student at the I. A. Milyutin Education Center in Russia’s Vologda Region, presented an innovative project at the First International Talent Summit in Almaty. He was among the winners and prize recipients of the national science and technology competition Bolshie Vyzovy (Big Challenges). A total of 20 top projects were showcased at the summit, the regional government said.
An Assistant for Scientists
Novozhilov presented an artificial intelligence system aimed at speeding up scientific research. He designed the architecture of an AI agent that automatically searches academic literature, analyzes data, and can even generate hypotheses. This allows researchers to devote more time to analysis. In the future, such a system could become a true intellectual partner for scientists, proposing and evaluating new research directions.
Bolshie Vyzovy for Young Researchers
According to regional education minister Yekaterina Tselikova, school students in the Vologda Region are actively participating in the Bolshie Vyzovy competition and proposing effective solutions to real-world industrial problems. She noted that anyone interested can submit a project to the regional stage of the competition until February 20. The best participants will earn a chance to attend Sirius, Russia’s educational center for gifted children.
