Residents of the Moscow region can now use a voice assistant for the Vyvoz Stroyotkhodov service (Construction Waste Removal), the regional Ministry of Public Administration, Information Technologies, and Communications said in a statement.

The robot answers incoming calls, registers requests for construction waste removal, and suggests alternative ways to submit an application. Follow-up questions from the assistant help residents formulate their requests correctly.

“You can contact the service by calling 122/7. By the end of 2025, the assistant had processed more than 9,000 calls and registered over 550 requests. In addition, 94% of calls in the region have been automated,” the ministry said.

Waste Remains a Pressing Issue

Earlier, we reported on a similar service in Moscow called Vyvoz Nenuzhnykh Veshchey (Removal of Unwanted Items). Over four years, Moscow residents handed in more than 3,000 tonnes of items. These are either disposed of, recycled, or given a second life.

The issue of construction waste disposal was recently raised by St. Petersburg Vice Governor Alexey Korabelnikov. City authorities decided to involve artificial intelligence in addressing the problem.

Using AI, the city plans to systematize and automate oversight of construction waste removal — from the point where it is generated to its final disposal and burial.
