Belarusian Companies Adopt Russian IT Solutions
Electronics retailer migrates corporate CRM system to BPMSoft low-code platform.
Belarusian electronics and home appliance chain 5 Element has completed the migration of its corporate CRM system to the Russian low-code platform BPMSoft. The retailer operates 80 stores in 47 cities across Belarus and runs its own online marketplace. With more than 50,000 product items in its assortment, the CRM system plays a central role in sales, customer service, and e-commerce operations.
Previously, the retailer used a solution based on Creatio, but the vendor’s withdrawal of support created risks for the stability of its IT infrastructure. BPMSoft was selected as a replacement, offering a low-code approach with built-in automation and AI tools. The migration was carried out in stages, involving the transfer of substantial data volumes and adaptation of previously developed components.
Particular attention was given to technical compatibility. Differences in handling reference data and language resources required architectural adjustments and the creation of an additional application to ensure accurate data transformation and integration of existing business processes into the new system.
Updates and Technical Support
As a result, the company maintained uninterrupted CRM operations while gaining access to updates and technical support. More than 270 active users from the contact center and retail network now work in BPMSoft. The transition helped minimize operational risks and establish a foundation for further development of the company’s IT landscape without disrupting business activities.
Maxim Kazeev, Head of CRM Practice at SOFTCLUB Group, noted that the platform’s flexibility and the team’s expertise enabled the project to be delivered within a tight timeframe. BPMSoft Commercial Director Vadim Sorokin added that the low-code approach made it possible to adapt the system to the retailer’s needs without disrupting day-to-day workflows.
