Moscow Deploys AI Concierge in Smart Residential Complex

Residents of Moscow’s SLAVA complex can now access an AI-powered digital concierge that integrates voice assistants and smart home platforms into daily routines.

No More Trips to the Intercom

Smart home technologies are rapidly becoming everyday conveniences, and the latest innovation comes in the form of a voice-powered digital concierge for residents of the SLAVA residential complex in Moscow. Developed by MR Group in collaboration with VEB.RF, the pilot leverages artificial intelligence to provide real-time access to concierge services directly through devices powered by Yandex’s 'Alice' assistant.

Residents can issue voice commands to order taxis, view security camera feeds via the 'Dom s Alisoy' mobile app, or through screens on Yandex Station and TV Station devices. The service transforms common routines into seamless interactions through commercially available smart devices.

More Features on the Horizon

The AI concierge already supports several practical scenarios—like pre-scheduling guest or courier access. A simple request such as, “Alice, create a temporary access code for my guest,” sets everything in motion. If a user books a taxi via Yandex Go, the system will automatically generate a building access pass.

MR Group continues to set new standards for modern living. Thanks to the AI assistant integrated into SLAVA, residents can focus on what matters most—enjoying life in a city environment designed to serve its people

Future capabilities may include intelligent entrance unlocking based on expected visitor arrival times.

“With every step forward in tech development, we’re making life more convenient, seamless, and secure. The future we once imagined is already here,” said Svetlana Perminova, CEO of Unicorn.

SLAVA is considered a flagship model of integrated smart infrastructure. Through the app, users can schedule access permissions, manage smart meters, and order services. Lobby entry can be achieved using BLE/RFID tags, QR codes, Face ID, or even remotely from anywhere in the world.

Always Connected, Anywhere in the Building

MR Group has spent years enhancing its digital service infrastructure. In 2021, it introduced a proprietary high-coverage signal standard across its residential, mixed-use, and commercial properties. The system ensures uninterrupted mobile reception—even in parking garages, elevator cabins, and other typically weak signal areas.

This network standard is now active in residential complexes such as Seligersky City, D1, Fili City, Discovery, and Discovery Park. Designed with futureproofing in mind, it can be upgraded to support 5G networks when necessary.

Setting Global Trends

Russia’s smart infrastructure in residential housing is progressing rapidly, keeping pace with global developments. Smart building technologies and voice assistants have gained wide adoption in the U.S. and China, but the launch of a fully functional AI concierge represents a leap forward that could reshape the smart living paradigm.

In time, these innovations may become export-ready. For instance, developers in CIS countries may find white-label AI real estate solutions appealing—modular products that can be rebranded and deployed locally. Before this can happen, localization and adaptation efforts will be necessary.

What’s already clear is that Russia’s digital infrastructure market is moving quickly. The domestic tech sector has shown it can deliver sophisticated, user-centric products that ease daily routines and set new benchmarks for smart urban living.
